Chiropractor and Acupuncturist in Kansas City Shares Her Personal Journey on the Homeopathic HCG Diet

Good morning everyone!  It's always a good morning when you wake up and you are 1.8 pounds lighter!

I have been meaning to write blog pots all along about my experience with the Homeopathic HCG Diet, but I haven't.  I think part of me was worried I wouldn't be successful, and part of me was worried about all the naysayers out there that say it doesn't work or it is harmful.

First of all, I've been wanting to personally do the HCG Diet for years, ever since I heard my uncle lost 42 pounds in 6 weeks (doing the HCG injections), and then several other family members have done it with success as well.  I just didn't want to spend the 700.00+ cost for just the injections alone.

Fast forward to a couple months ago and a good friend of mine, who is also a Chiropractor, helped her husband do the diet when he wanted to lose weight and fit back into his former size again (by the way he went down TWO pants sizes).  I got to hear about their experience ever step of the way, educating myself, and buying the HCG Diet Guide by Linda Prinster on Amazon for about 25.00.  I started reading it for myself, and also I wanted to educate myself and become an expert on this topic for my patients.  I see it as a viable way for many people to lose weight and keep it off...provided they are willing to follow directions and take a little coaching.

I started looking at the calendar...I was doing a LOT of traveling in October, and knew it would be best to be home for the 23 to 40 days I was going to be on Phase 2 which is the Low Calorie portion combined with the Homeopathic HCG Drops.  Before you start the Low Calorie Phase, you gorge for 2 days on fat filled foods to build up your structural fat.  I started the gorge days on November 12th which was a Thursday so that my first two days on the Low Calorie Phase would be on a weekend.  I did this so that I would have some downtime to give my body a chance to relax and to see how I would do before I had a busy day at the office.

At two weeks in to P2 you measure.  I measured at Day 16 and was down 16.75 inches, and 2.25 of those were around my midriff!

Fast forward to today...the Morning of Day 23 of the Low Calorie Phase also called P2.

I have lost 27.6 pounds and I am FOUR pounds thinner than I was two years ago when I was working with a personal trainer. OH, AND I AM COMFORTABLY IN MY SKINNY JEANS! (but I'm looking forward to buying even smaller skinny jeans soon!)  I am so happy and looking forward to the next 17 days to see how much more I can lose.  There are some sources that say even before you get to day 40 if you lose 34 or 36 pounds you should go on maintenance early, and there are other sources that say if you are extremely overweight it is ok to go a little further.  I'm going to take it one day at a time once I am at 36 pounds lost and see if I start maintenance early.  Either way, I will be on maintenance at Christmas so I can have turkey (but no starch or sugar!).

Check out my future blog posts as I review the last few weeks and share more with you about the Homepathic HCG Diet.  I am creating a comprehensive support program in my office for patients so that I can help them achieve the fantastic success I have experienced as well!
