Kansas City Chiropractor uses Acupuncture to Help Stress Headaches Fast!

Headches, including stress headaches and migraines, can be triggered by a variety of causes:

Acupuncture helps headaches in my office on a daily basis. We use a technology called Acugraph in our office to evaluate the Acupuncture Meridians. Acupuncture Meridians are pathways where the energy courses through the body, and they are impacted by physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Each patient has an Acugraph exam prior to each Acupuncture treatment to give you the most accurate, up to date treatment at each visit.
Here is an example of a patient who was in the office because of a headache
The Small Intestine (SI), Triple Heater (TH), and Large Intestine (LI) meridians are colored red, and are what we call "split", meaning there is more than 25 points difference in energy between the left and right side. Those meridians travel up the arms and the back and side of the shoulders and neck which happen to be right where this patient was experiencing her headache. The Gallbladder (GB) meridian is also split, and that meridian travels back and forth long both sides of the head and neck, also right where the patient was complaining of pain. The Kidney meridian (KI) which is colored purple, has excessively high energy, and the mental emotional issue with Kidney is fear and anxiety. This patient was also experiencing fear and anxiety about some personal relationships.
As you can see, often we can correlate the patients symptoms with the findings on the Acugraph. In our office we combine the Acugraph measurements with Acupuncture points classically known to help with headaches. This comprehensive approach to all types of headaches gives us a very high rate of success with our Acupuncture treatment.
Just so you know, the patient left the office after this treatment drastically improved, and her headache was nearly gone in less than 30 minutes!
